Athens Subsumption, a trusted advisory that helps business leaders decide how to best use future technologies, launched as a major initiative in 2014. Since then we have diversified our portfolio of entrepreneurial ventures and are rebranding to accommodate this expansion of products and services. Our exploration of the modes and operations of capitalism has become an international conglomeration with multiple subsidiaries. Since this company was founded, Athens Subsumption has acted on the belief that great service starts with the people who deliver it. This rich legacy has sustained us and today, as a global leader we remain just as committed to this belief.
This global business network is tasked with collecting data in order to better understand the flows of people, ideas and markets that make up visible and invisible infrastructures. It is through the role of researcher that we examine historic, recent and emerging geographies where [public] space is transformed to economic zones, places of production, transport hubs and industrial facilities, as well as spaces of illegal commercial transactions.
Athens Subsumption, is a multidisciplinary group of scholars, artists and architects assembled in Athens in November 2014. Our aim is to trace the subsumption of place to reflect on the possibilities, stakes, and potential commons that may emerge by shifting the terrains of systemic financialized logics. The collective is co-building a generative practice of geographic interventions and interactions that are both playful and revealing. Fabricating, by combining social theory building with global economic trends, an integrated communication infrastructure between individuals and institutions with the most efficient means and established reputation for always bringing the extra value to each project. Our current practice harnesses the power dynamics within the realms of identity, authenticity, and visual representation(s).
